Brian M. Schuyler, EIT
Brian is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University's Civil Engineering program with an emphasis on Structural Design [B.S. CE '94]. During the spring semester of his senior year while participating in a student exchange program at The University of Leeds [UK], Brian collaborated with his friend and fellow classmate Bill Fetzer, discussing the future after college and how one could truly make an impact in the construction industry. Over several pints of bitter beer at the local pub, GALILEO was ultimately born, in theory at least. It wasn't until ten years later were they able to start the companies with enough experience necessary to better guarantee a higher level of quality to their clients. Before GALILEO, Brian completed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and began working for two other general contractors in the Tucson Area. During this period, he successfully completed projects for Davis-Monthan AFB, The Army Corps of Engineers, Inland Kenworth, Universal Avionics and Frito-Lay.
Brian is constantly supported and encouraged to succeed by his wife Cara, and her son Steven. Without them, this would not be possible.
William "Bill" Fetzer III, MBA, EIT
Bill is a 1994 graduate of Penn State's Civil and Environmental Engineering program with an emphasis on Construction Management [B.S. CE '94]. While completing his studies, he was given the opportunity to experience first-hand the physical working conditions of a general laborer in Tucson during the summer of 1993. Bill decided then to one day make his home in Tucson with a goal of owning his own construction company. Since moving to the desert southwest in 1995, Bill has worked for several well respected contractors and manufacturers, honing his project management, leadership, and general business skills across multiple industries. Bill successfully completed the Fundamentals of Engineering exam and has an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
The GALILEO Companies are a joint creation with his long time friend and business partner and represent the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. He is supported and encouraged by his wife Gina, his daughter Makena, and their two rescued dogs, Bodie and Bella. When not doing anything else, he enjoys growing vegetables and herbs, geocaching, and backgammon.
